The gods were generous during the tournament as the weather held during the practice rounds on the 27th. It poured with rain during the night of the 27th and it suddenly stopped just before the first tee time at 9:00 am!
The 74 players had fun during the tournament although some of them did not really enjoy their own game. |

Sponsors, players, guests and companions appreciated the relaxed atmosphere during the meals, get-togethers and entertainment.
It was also a great opportunity to talk about “the good old days”.
Babette Harradine said a few words and remarked: “I hardly know anybody anymore!” |

Surprisingly, Steven Tierney did not win that year which gave the opportunity to David Malcolm to win the greenkeeper’s trophy. |
